Robert Bell is a Partner within the Clinical Negligence Department, and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since 2005.
Recognised as a 'Leader in the Field' of Clinical Negligence Law by Chambers UK, Robert is adept at dealing with complex issues across the medical spectrum and his experience ranges from cases worth tens of thousands of pounds to multi-million pound brain and spinal injury claims. Recent successes include an award of £3.6 million for a child who suffers with learning difficulties following a delay in her birth and an award for £450,000 in a leg amputation case.
Robert trained and qualified with a leading clinical negligence firm in London. He is a member of APIL and a member of the renowned AvMA Referral Panel.
At work, Robert has a growing reputation for his inquest work in cases involving deaths in a healthcare context. He has represented numerous bereaved families in the Coroner's Court, including several cases in which the Coroner sat with a jury. He is the firm's training partner.
Out of work Robert enjoys all sports and is an avowed francophile.
