Paula Tinton
Associate Solicitor
Paula works in our Probate, Trusts and Wills department specialising in personal legal issues including the preparation of Wills and the administration of estates after someone has passed away.
She also works with people who need support to manage their affairs and is happy to discuss and prepare Powers of Attorney. If people do not have the capacity to give instructions then she will also advise family’s in respect of all work in the Court of Protection.
Paula creates comprehensive Wills for all sorts of situations including those that cover guardianship arrangements for children and Wills that cover complicated family structures. Whilst mostly working from our East Grinstead office she regularly makes home visits to clients who find it difficult to travel.
As a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners, Paula’s Probate work ranges from giving relatives one-off advice to managing the whole matter through to the final distribution of very complex estates.
After completing her law degree at Staffordshire University, Paula qualified as a solicitor in 1997. She has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since the firm merged with Allen Ticehurst for whom she worked for 12 years.
Outside work Paula makes the most of the Sussex countryside with long walks, horse-riding and cross-country running. She also plays netball in the East Grinstead netball league.
