From my first contact with Mayo Wynne Baxter I have felt in very good hands. The website is reassuring and persuasive with clear statements of aims, values and principles and I liked the fact that the firm had won excellence awards for their practice. This was why I chose them to represent my interests in a professional Negligence case. My first telephone conversation with Karim Mohamed (one of the partners) was positive and encouraging and I was very happy and impressed with the support and detailed advice I received throughout the case from one of his colleagues, Katherine Leppard and from him. The settlement of my case was not easy and not as I had hoped. However, because of the firm’s empathetic approach to my situation, we were able to work together to reach a settlement that was agreeable to me and them. I want to thank you both for all the hard work and your sympathetic approach.

Samantha Dickinson is the best in her field. What she doesn’t know about UK employment law could be written on a small grain of sand. She does not ever sit on the fence and she speaks plain English – a pleasure to deal with. I have used other firms (London and Sussex) for UK employment law but have never come close to the level of service that Sam delivers. One thing I particularly appreciate about Sam is that she speaks “plain English” and also, very importantly, she does not sit on the fence. She calls it as it is, no prevarication and no ‘legalese’. I have never lost a case that she has acted on for me. This makes for a very straightforward and enjoyable working relationship.
I would like to thank you and your team for your consistent support throughout the time I have sought to achieve this. I have always felt in competent hands and appreciated your advice when I sought it.
“Petra Edwards and her team were very good at keeping me informed about proceedings when they acted for me recently with my property move. It was quite stressful because of the problems I had dealing with the seller of the property and the estate agents, both were most unhelpful, but Petra and her team helped to resolve the issues.”
