Harriet Williamson

I finished my Law degree with Criminology LLB in May 2023 and started my role within the New Enquiries Team at Mayo Wynne Baxter a couple of weeks later.

Within my undergraduate degree, I completed a year abroad at Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan. Not only did I get to learn about a completely different legal system, but I got to travel around Japan and see beautiful places such as Osaka, Kyoto and Okinawa, whilst enjoying lots of Ramen!

I enjoy travelling and in 2019 I studied the Malaysian Legal System at Taylor’s University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I like to think I made most out of my university experience from being able to participate in these amazing opportunities abroad.

Prior to my role at Mayo Wynne Baxter, I worked in retail, higher education and as a receptionist for a law firm in North London. I also volunteered at Citizens Advice as a Level 2 Advisor.

I always knew I had a passion for helping people from my very first job as a Customer Assistant as Marks and Spencer as the focus of this company’s ethos is about providing a very high-quality level of customer service, which I feel I have consolidated on further on throughout the years.

I am delighted to be working for such a reputable law firm within the South-East. Within my role I communicate with clients in order to ensure that they are put in touch with the relevant legal assistance for their situation.
