Shelley Cole is a Litigation Assistant and has been working with Mayo Wynne Baxter since June 2010. Shelley assists Robin Churchill and the Litigation department in a wide variety of litigation matters including claims against local authorities and public utility companies, contested probate matters, and contract and construction disputes. Shelley is often is a main point of contact for clients and witnesses.
Shelley is also responsible for the preparation of court documents and undertaking research assignments. She has been heavily involved in implementing a Contested Probate Referral Scheme and is the first point of contact for firms referring contested probate matters to Mayo Wynne Baxters Brighton office.
Shelley has 7 year’s civil litigation experience, including 4½ years working in Employment Law and 2 years working in Criminal Law. Having attained ILEX Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice at distinction level, Shelley is currently working towards ILEX Level 3 Diploma in Law & Practice going on to ILEX Level 6 Higher Diploma in Law & Practice in order to become a qualified Legal Executive.
Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending time with her daughter, her friends and the rest of her family.
