Lorna Gietzen

Lorna joined MWB in 2018 and is our Marketing Business Partner. With more than 20 years’ experience across marketing, consumer services, digital industries and recruitment, she brings a deep understanding of how strong relationships and effective communication drive a company’s continued growth and service excellence.

In her role, Lorna leads on marketing activity across all offices to ensure we communicate clearly with both existing and prospective clients. She supports our communications and business development strategies, helps raise the profile of the firm, and works to attract new clients across all practice areas. Her team also oversees corporate sponsorships, hospitality initiatives and media relations.

After graduating from Chichester University with a degree in Media Studies & English, Lorna built her career in marketing roles spanning hospitality, events and international digital sector recruitment. This diverse background has fuelled her enthusiasm for digital innovation and the ever evolving landscape of modern marketing.

Lorna is driven by strategic thinking and the power of strong brand presence. As her career has evolved, she has moved increasingly into strategy, business development and brand management, applying her experience across professional services to help shape long term growth and client engagement. She enjoys developing clear, purposeful marketing approaches and working collaboratively across teams to strengthen the firm’s market position.

Her background in digital marketing and communications still informs her work, but her focus is now firmly on broader strategic initiatives, relationship building and brand development.

Energised by creative problem solving and thoughtful planning, she enjoys partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders  from large organisations to smaller businesses and individual clients to deliver meaningful, insight led outcomes.

Outside of work, Lorna enjoys spending time with her husband and children, taking part in a variety of exercise classes, and has completed numerous half marathons along with two full marathons her favourite being the iconic Beachy Head Marathon. She’s also an avid reader with a love for almost any genre.
