Peggy Hall

Head of Department

Peggy Hall is a Partner and Head of the Probate, Trusts and Wills Team and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter for 18 years.

Peggy manages a team of 14 solicitors, fee earners and support staff across the firm’s five offices. Her role focuses on elderly client advice, wills and probate.

Before joining the firm Peggy worked as a further education lecturer, teaching English to adults with special needs for 12 years, before re-qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994. Peggy is a trustee for Age Concern, Governor for Sussex Downs College and a Committee member for Queen Alexandra Cottage Homes.

At work Peggy has additional expertise in property work, declarations of trust and matrimonial conveyancing, and is interested in recruitment and resolving staff issues. Outside of work she enjoys walking, reading and choral singing.

Thank you for all your hard work in administering this estate, I have been very grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown to us. We were both unaware of the size of the estate and it has been very reassuring to have the whole matter handled so skillfully and in such a straightforward manner on our behalf. Thank you too for your persistence in dealing with the revenue.
