Katy Meade is an experienced clinical negligence solicitor who handles a varied case load and has a particular interest in representing families at inquests.
After starting her career in nursing Katy retrained as a solicitor and qualified in Ireland in 2009. She has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since December 2009 where she started as a Nurse Paralegal within the Clinical Negligence Team.
Katy completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 1998, followed by a Diploma in Legal Studies in 2001. These qualifications were attained in Australia and Ireland respectively.Outside of work Katy is interested in travel, music and sport, particularly running. She has completed two marathons in Dublin and the Brighton marathon in 2011.
