Katherine Leppard is a Solicitor and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since 2008. She is currently working in the firm’s Litigation Department at the Brighton office.
Katherine Leppard is a Solicitor and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since 2008. She is currently working in the firm’s Litigation Department at the Brighton office.
Before joining the firm, Katherine obtained her degree in Applied Biological Sciences at the University of the West of England and carried out research into the cellular processing of DNA vaccines at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio.
Katherine went on to study law at the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice and achieved a distinction in her Legal Practice Course in 2007. She then worked for RAC Legal Services in Bristol where she provided advice on various areas of law focusing on the assessment of litigious matters.
As part of her training with Mayo Wynne Baxter, Katherine worked on secondment to the legal department of the top two tour operators. This involved negoatiating settlements and defending travel claims relating to personal injury, quality and contractual disputes.
Katherine qualified as a Solictor in September 2010 is looking forward to becoming part of the next generation of solicitors within the firm.

The Department of Transport has today published and laid the long awaited final version of the ATOL regulations before parliament and they will come into force on 30 April 2012.
