Dean Orgill is a Partner within the Litigation Department and Chairman. He has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter for over 20 years. Dean acts on behalf of a range of clients involved in commercial disputes, working with them to find the best possible resolution.
Before joining the firm, Dean qualified as a solicitor in 1987, and has specialised in litigation ever since. During his 20 years experience he has acted for local, national and international businesses in relation to the protection of their intellectual property rights and brands. His approach has been described by clients as calm and measured, but forceful when required.
Dean's artistic endeavours are largely limited to appreciating a wide range of music, his own skills as a drummer never having required him to consider the terms of recording or performance contracts.
At work Dean has particular interest in commercial litigation within the media and creative industries and leisure sector.
