I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2014 with a 2:1 in Law and went on to complete my LPC in 2019. I then trained at a Sussex firm and qualified in 2021. Now I specialise in commercial property at our Brighton office.

I advise on a variety of matters including grants and assignments of leases, sales and purchases and refinancing. I’ve experience in acting for both landlords and tenants, as well as lender’s, purchasers and sellers, from small start-ups to global, multi-million pounds companies.

I am known for my pro-active and pragmatic approach to matters and have a friendly and approachable nature.

Outside of work, I love to travel and scuba dive all around the world. When closer to home, I enjoy reading, Zumba and exploring the Sussex countryside with my husband and rescue dog.

Lorna joined as Marketing Executive in February 2018 – as a veteran in marketing and the consumer services industries, she understands the importance of building relationships and great communication is for the constant improvement of a Company’s services.

Lorna’s role is to assist with the marketing to ensure that we communicate clearly with existing and potential clients, support the communications & business development strategies, raise the profile of the firm and attract new clients. I joined MWB in the summer of 2023 as a Residential Property Paralegal in the Storrington office.

Alongside my role as a Paralegal, I am also studying to become a Licensed Conveyancer. I have been working in residential conveyancing for over 3 years, and during this time I have dealt with a variety of cases. I hope to continue developing my knowledge with a view to becoming a Licensed Conveyancer in the future.

I understand the process of buying and selling a home can be overwhelming at points, and I always do my best to make the transition as easy as possible for our clients.

Outside of work and when I’m not studying, I enjoy baking and making the most of living in the beautiful Sussex countryside.

I joined the Mayo Wynne Baxter Family Team as a Legal Secretary in 2012.

Having worked as a Legal Secretary in family law and litigation for over 30 years, I was promoted to a Paralegal in 2018.

My experience along with my understanding of each individual client’s personal circumstances makes me a first port of call for many clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, cooking and spending time with my family.
