What attracted you to this area of law?
I joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in January 2022 as a Legal Support Assistant, I became a Paralegal in June 2022 for the Eastbourne Property Department.
I put my pride and passion into all that I do in the Property Team, making sure each task is seen through to a high standard. I am a very organised person so I will prioritise and plan my day. I also make sure there are quick turnaround times for our clients and the team.
I have years of experience in client/customer management roles as well as administration but I really wanted to focus my career within the Property Team.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I am a qualified pilot so I am flying a lot! I love to spend time with my friends, family and partner whether that’s going for walks or the cinema!
Megan is a Private Client Executive within our Private Client team.
She achieved her undergraduate degree in Law with American Studies at Sussex University in 2019, and has compleated the Legal Practice Course with a Business Masters at the University of Law, Guilford. She is now waiting to sit her final SQE exams.
Before joining Mayo Wynne Baxter, she was volunteering with Citizens Advice as a gateway assessor, helping those accessing the service to get the support and information they needed.
Megan also spent time volunteering with CLOCK at the Brighton Family Court during her degree studies, assisting litigants in person with navigating the court system and completing forms.
In her free time, Megan enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her friends and family.
Jon joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in November 2018 having previously worked for a large regional firm based in Southampton since 2005.

I started at MWB in 2021 as an LSA, I then became a Paralegal in the Private Client team in June 2022.
Before starting at MWB, I worked as a manager for B&B hotels where I discovered my passion for helping people and I knew I wanted to work directly with people.
I also studied law at University of Kent, which I enjoyed. So, when I saw the opportunity to join MWB as a LSA I saw it as a perfect chance to progress my legal career path.
What do you most enjoy about your role?
I love working with my team and meeting new clients every day. I’m often the first contact a client has to the firm, and I love to see the matter through to completion. It’s really satisfying to help people sort through their thoughts and needs into a working plan for their future!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to work on classic cars, I have just bought a Toyota MR2 1996, and she is beautiful! I also like to Ski and snowboard whenever I get the opportunity!
