Katie Humphrey

Katie is a Paralegal within the Employment Department at Mayo Wynne Baxter. She joined the the firm in April 2023 when MWB merged with Lawson Lewis Blakers, where Katie had previously gained experience as a Legal Secretary.

Within the Employment Department, Katie’s role is to support the Legal Advisers across a variety of matters. Her primary role involves assisting with client on-boarding, managing documentation, liaising with clients with an aim to ensuring that their matters progress smoothly.

Katie is working towards her Solicitor Apprenticeship Qualification, she began studying for this in September 2024. This route of qualification will enable her to develop her legal expertise through a mixture of academic study and on the job experience. As she progresses through the qualification, Katie is gaining the knowledge and skills required to qualify as a solicitor whilst continuing to support the team in her role as a paralegal.
