Georgia Dellar
I graduated from Law LLB with Honours first class in 2021 at the University of Sussex.
During my studies, I took part in the Mayo Wynne Baxter Junior Mooting competition which attracted me to the firm and gave me an opportunity to meet people who worked here. I had been determined to work here since!
Before joining MWB, I was previously employed as a Debt Caseworker at Citizens Advice Bureau. I took pride in helping those in crisis work through a difficult time of their lives.
Alongside my role at MWB, I am also currently studying the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) course at the University of Law.
What attracted, and keeps you in this area of law?
With a background in debt advice, it gave me an insight into working with people dealing with personal and sensitive financial issues.
I was attracted to Private Client work as I like helping Client’s sort through difficult periods in their life and helping them to get their affairs in order to avoid future complications.
My strengths include great organisation skills and a calm and cool manner when dealing with stressful situations.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy hiking and have trekked the world’s highest mountain pass in Nepal.
I am a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and try to compete when I can at the Brighton open competitions.
