Estella Qualified as a Solicitor in April 2018 following completion of her training contract at Mayo Wynne Baxter. She works in the Family team primarily based in the East Grinstead and Lewes offices, specialising in all aspects surrounding relationships and relationship breakdowns.
Estella represents clients in a wide range of family matters and has particular expertise in advising on:
- All stages of divorce, dissolution and judicial separation proceedings;
- Financial arrangements following separation or divorce, including those involving non-marital or overseas assets and complex health issues;
- Applications to vary, enforce or set aside existing financial orders, including spousal maintenance orders and legal charges;
- Assisting clients in applying for injunctive orders such as non-molestation and occupation orders (as well as defending such applications);
- Wealth protection, including drafting and negotiating pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements; and
- Arrangements for children following a separation and representing clients in contested Children Act proceedings, including where relocation, attendance of a particular school or alcohol and or drug dependency is an issue.
- Applications for financial support for children of an unmarried couple.

As a long-standing member of Resolution, Estella is committed to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational and constructive way, whilst also striving for the best possible outcome for her clients. Estella is an advocate for non-court dispute resolution, assisting clients in trying to resolve matters out of Court where possible and undertaking her cases in an assertive, sensitive and constructive manner.
Estella assists her clients to consider the benefits and costs (emotional and financial) of any next steps and is mindful that each client’s circumstances differ, understanding that a ‘one size does not fit all’ and tailoring the service she provides to suit her individual clients. Clients have confidence in Estella’s sensible and commercial approach where her aim is to provide clear and pragmatic advice, assisting clients to resolve matters in an amicable and cost effective way, but also takes a firm and robust approach if contested court proceedings are necessary.
Prior to joining MWB, Estella completed her Law degree at the University of Sussex and attained a Distinction in her LPC at the University of Law.
