Emma van Bunnens

Emma qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and is a recommended lawyer by Legal 500. She is a Partner in the Family Department, Deputy Head of Department and also Heads up the East Grinstead office. Emma is also Training Partner and Work Experience Partner for the brand. Emma specialises in all aspects of Family law. She represents clients within divorce ad civil partnership, financial and children cases, and will often represent them in court in place of a barrister. Emma's legal practice also includes representing grandparents within children cases. She drafts complex pre and post nuptial agreements which is one of her specialisms. With over 20 years experience, Emma offers clients pragmatic and focused advice depending on their needs, doing so with the sensitivity needed in complex family situations. Dealing either with high net worth financial matters to sensitive children matters, Emma provides clear and concise advice and representation for all of her clients. Emma is a member of Resolution and is committed to promoting a constructive approach to all family issues. Emma studies Law at the University of Sussex, then undertaking her LPC at the College of Law, Guildford. She undertook her training contract with a small firm specialising in criminal and family law. Emma is happy to speak with clients prior to being formally instructed as she understands how important it is for clients to instruct the right lawyer for them.
