Nadine is a Solicitor with over 25 years experience in advising Clients in Conveyancing. She specialises in all areas of residential property acting for individuals and companies in a variety of transactions. Nadine joined the firm in 2023 when MWB merged with Lawson Lawson Blakers, where she was a Director of the firm. Nadine is also Head of the Eastbourne office.

Nadine assists Clients efficiently through all manner of conveyancing transactions putting clients at ease at what can be a stressful time. Her work includes acting in connection with sales and purchases of leasehold, freehold and auction properties and purchases of newly built properties within Sussex and nationally.

Nadine has been a member of Eastbourne AM Rotary Club for the last 18 years.

Nick is a partner at Mayo Wynne Baxter. He joined the firm in 2013 having previously been a partner for many years at another local firm of solicitors.

Nick graduated with a law degree in 1984 and completed his professional exams in 1985 after which he joined another law firm in Lewes, qualifying as a solicitor in 1987. He has practiced in his home town of Lewes ever since. Nick has expertise, backed up by over 40 years experience , in all aspects of residential conveyancing including buying and selling, remortgaging and transfers of equity . Over that time he has acted for clients buying and selling properties all over the country including many high value transactions. Those clients include property developers, local councils and housing associations as well private clients. Using his considerable experience, Nick is able to guide client calmly through the conveyancing process and provide advice and reassurance along the way.

Outside of work, Nick has over the years been a member of a number of local organisations including being governor of two local schools. He enjoys watching sport of all types especially his beloved Brighton and Hove Albion where he is a season ticket holder.

Juliet is a Partner in the residential property team and is based in the Storrington and Chichester offices. She has over 22 years of experience in dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing.

Juliet has great local knowledge, having practiced in various locations in and around West Sussex since 2004. She joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in 2014 and became a Partner in 2017.

Juliet has a through understanding of conveyancing law and practice and specialises in buying, selling and transferring ownership of a wide variety of properties and land. She acts for everyone from first time buyers to high net worth individuals, landowners, investors and companies. She enjoys complex conveyancing and problem solving.

Juliet guides her clients through the conveyancing process in an efficient, friendly and helpful way and is known for her client service and attention to detail. She is equally happy communicating in person, on the phone or by email.

Lisa is a residential conveyancer with 15 years of experience. She specialises in residential sales and purchases together with auction sales and purchases and auction pack preparation.

Lisa prides herself on providing her clients with a prompt and professional service and takes client satisfaction very highly. She works outside normal working hours to enable additional client service and is always available to see and speak to clients at a convenient time for them.

She prioritises her caseload efficiently, which enables her to meet the high expectations of clients and the deadlines involved with conveyancing transactions.

Lisa is an Appointed Person for first aid, has an enhanced DBS certificate and holds a current Child Safeguarding Certificate.

I have worked for Mayo Wynne Baxter for over 4 years and have been working within the residential department as a paralegal for the last 3 years.

Hayley provides day to day support to her fee earner, which includes liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, management companies and any other third parties.
Hayley also attends to client who attend the office with queries on their sale and purchase and assists in completion of documents and updates on progression of their transaction.

I joined MWB in 2023 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property team in Seaford.

Prior to joining MWB I had worked in Brighton having moved from London in 2017. I have been working in Property since 1988 having worked in various solicitors in London with my last firm being a local Wimbledon firm where I had worked for 17 years before moving to East Sussex.

In my line of day to day work I like to ensure a good relationship with all our clients and manage their expectations regarding their sale/purchase.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, walking, holidays and socialising with family and friends is important.

I feel my many years in Residential Property assists to advise clients of the complete conveyancing process and manage there concerns at every step of the way. I work throughout the whole chain of a matter from providing a quotation to the end goal of completion. I am also involved in all admin aspects of my role. I am also happy to hand hold clients who are First Time Buyers and therefore unfamiliar with the conveyancing process or clients who have not moved in many years. Part of my role is to manage expectations of clients and help to make the moving process as stress free as possible.

Amy is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Property Department . Amy joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in 2023 and deals with all aspects of freehold and leasehold Residential Property.

Amy qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2025 but has over 10 years experience in the Property sector, having worked with private individuals, developers, landowners and companies on all aspects of freehold and leasehold property.

Amy’s background is in Commercial Real Estate however, she transitioned in Residential Conveyancing in 2022, having chosen to build her career in this area in the long term.

Amy places real emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with clients, she understands that the Conveyancing process can be a stressful and challenging time and wishes to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible for every client.

Out of the office, Amy enjoys spending time with family, baking and the outdoors. Amy has participated in fundraising for Asthma and Lung UK and in 2021 participated in an overnight hike of Snowdon in support of the charity.

Angela Payne is a Legal Executive in the Property Team at Mayo Wynne Baxter. She joined the team in May 2017. She predominantly serves Storrington, West Sussex and related areas.

Angela qualified as a Legal Executive in 1995 and gained experience in property law in one of the South East’s leading firms. She has dealt with all aspects of residential conveyancing during her career. Angela is an Associate at Mayo Wynne Baxter.

Angela is happy to see clients face to face in the office and guide them through the conveyancing process or by dealing with the majority of communications by email. Angela prides herself in the fact that she responds quickly to emails and phone calls.

Angela is recommended by colleagues and local estate agents as a safe pair of hands.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys keeping fit, walking, gardening, reading and is a member of the local Business Group.

Carly is a Paralegal who has been assisting the Eastbourne Residential Property Department for over 20 years.

Starting with the firm in 2005 where I was initially taken on as a Float Secretary, covering all Departments. Progressing to work for a Partner within Conveyancing as a Legal Secretary, which is where I have stayed ever since. I like the procedural-type work of conveyancing and really enjoy working within the Eastbourne Property Team. In my time with the firm, I progressed further to become a Completions Clerk dealing with a conveyancing transaction from the point of exchange of Contracts through to completion.
