After graduating in 2006, I moved to London and started my in house recruitment career in 2010.

I’ve worked across a number of industries, including; Insurance, Accountancy, Regulatory and now Legal!

I live in Worthing and I am primarily based in the Brighton office.

Having only recently moved to Worthing I enjoy exploring the area, walks on the beach with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and have recently been having a go at paddle boarding!

Before joining MWB, Lynda worked for a local Estate Agent for 20 years in sales, followed by nearly 10 years for a local independent Letting Agent.

She is thrilled to be working for Mayo Wynne Baxter on Switchboard and is really enjoying the company of her team, Ali and Vivien.

When Lynda is not working, she spends time with her grandchildren, enjoys meeting friends for lunch and likes to travel to exotic locations!

I joined the New Enquires Team in October 2023.

I was born in the East coast of South Africa and moved to the UK when I was 9.

I attended Bournemouth University studying Business Management with a Marketing Pathway.

I enjoyed multiple aspects of university such as meeting new people, trying new food, and learning the Business industry in further depth.

I also spent a lot of my free time at University on Bournemouth’s sandy beach.

Prior to my role at Mayo Wynne Baxter, I worked in retail, Hospitality, TAX industry and Pre-employment screening. I also volunteered at RELATE Sussex charity shop.

As part of my job, I interact with clients to make sure they are connected to the appropriate legal support for their circumstances and I am thrilled to be employed by one of the South East’s most prestigious legal firms.

During my free time, I enjoy shopping, Baking, and spending time with my three little brothers.

Patrycja is the Legal Support Team Leader.

She joined us as Client Service Group Team Leader covering both our Eastbourne and Seaford offices.

Patrycja achieved a Master’s degree after graduating from the University of Economics in Poland.

Before joining Mayo Wynne Baxter  she worked for 12 years in hospitality including 6 years as a Senior Receptionist at the luxury 5 star Grand Hotel in Eastbourne.

Outside of work Patrycja enjoys travelling abroad, swimming and hiking.

Lauren joined another local Eastbourne firm in 2017 as a receptionist but was quickly promoted to Assistant within the Public Law (Care Proceedings) department.

After merging with MWB in 2023, she joined the Family team and is now a Database and Compliance Executive

What do you like about working in the Family Team?

I really enjoy taking clients initial instructions and giving them the reassurance that we have the expertise to help them during a really difficult time in their life.

Seeing the positive changes in them and their lives as their matter progresses is very rewarding. It’s good to be able to help them move on from a difficult and traumatic time to a place where they can be happy.

What are your strengths and skills?

Listening.

My dad gave me some great and invaluable life advice, he told me that “God gave us two ears and one mouth, and we should use them proportionately!”

So, I always have this in mind with my clients – it’s better to listen and hear everything before jumping in with advice.

What do you like to do outside of work?

When I’m not working, I love to spend time with friends and family.

I also love walking anywhere and travelling to beautiful warm countries.

She’s passionate about all things digital; “Digital marketing, marketing communications, SEO and especially social media; the way it constantly evolves excites me!” She is genuinely excited by creative concepts and enjoys working with the full spectrum of clients – big brands, small businesses and individuals.

Lou joined the team with 2 new projects being implemented. She has enjoyed growing with both projects and looks forward to the future.

Outside of work Lou likes to do Strongwoman and Powerlifting competing and is in training for this all the time.

I joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in October 2021 as a Enquiries Executive.

My previous experience is in the financial and banking sectors, both allowed me to assist individuals and businesses in financial difficulty.

Empathy and a high level of customer service is essential during situations like these, and I thrived on the ability to give the best experience possible.

I’m very excited to be here at Mayo Wynne Baxter, where I can support people in a new way.

Outside of work my three cats demand a lot of my attention. But I also enjoy knitting, especially in the wintertime where I donate the scarves I make to local charities.

I have been writing varies novels for many years now and one day hope to be brave enough to try and publish one.
