Simon Baillie-Hamilton is the Head of Rural Business and Property for Mayo Wynne Baxter, and has been with the firm since 2000.
Simon acts on behalf of rural clients and advises on all matters connected with their businesses, particularly in relation to property issues.
Simon has a dual professional qualification being a rural Chartered Surveyor as well as a Solicitor. Before joining the firm Simon worked for Strutt and Parker, after which he trained with and worked for regional firm Thomas Eggar. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and is an NFU Professional. Simon is also recognised as a ‘Leader in the Field’ of agricultural law by Chambers UK.
At work Simon is particularly interested in agricultural property, landlord and tenant matters, management and planning for landed families. Outside of work he enjoys all sports, and is a keen supporter of Lewes Hockey Club.
