I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kingston University and qualified as a solicitor in 2011. I joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in 2013 and my commitment to my work meant that I achieved a promotion to Partner in April 2019.
I advise clients on all aspects of separation including divorce, high net worth complex financial claims, settlements by consent, pre/post nuptial agreements and injunctive relief. I have a particular interest in assisting client’s with agreeing or enforcing arrangements for children and relocation applications with an international element.
As a member of Resolution, I am as well-equipped at helping clients achieve a conciliatory resolution as I am at taking a more litigious stance. I have been recommended in the Legal 500 as ‘impressing with her realistic advice’.
As a former criminal solicitor in my early years, I have significant experience in undertaking my own advocacy, ensuring client’s feel supported and comfortable throughout their case. I understand that nothing is more important than you and your family and I work hard to ensure I have a clear understanding of each client’s main objectives.
I'm also a Resolution trained Mediator and help clients to reach practical solutions in a timely and cost-effective way.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my young family, cooking and travelling.
I found Tia to be very helpful and pleasant, she gave me lost of advice, answered all my questions and was very supportive with my situation. I didn't feel rushed and could take my time. Will be using Tia again.
Sound advice. Keeps things ticking over steadily. Good at communicating with client. Friendly and helpful attitude.
