Sylvia is a solicitor within the conveyancing department based at the Eastbourne office. Sylvia specialises in all areas of conveyancing law and offers a high level of client care on a wide range of conveyancing matters.
Before joining the firm, Sylvia obtained a Spanish and Latin American degree with honours after which she worked at a City law firm for seven years in their shipping department and later in their international arbitration department making full use of her fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
Sylvia went onto work in the legal department of a major bank in the City as a legal analyst shortly after. Her natural enthusiasm for work involving the law prompted Sylvia to retrain as a solicitor at Sussex University and she achieved her postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in London. Sylvia has since worked at local firms gathering a wealth of experience in conveyancing.
Outside of work Sylvia enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and travelling.
I have had a professional relationship with Chris Strutt & his team for 2 or so years now and have always been highly impressed with the level of service provided, knowledge of the team and most importantly the care that they provide for my clients. For all things property law, this team are best I have worked with in all my time as a financial planner. Sylvia Garcia is a great addition to the team in the recent months and goes beyond the call of duty to provide exceptional service.
The most important thing of course is that I am safe in the knowledge that my clients are in really safe sets of hands, where the quality of advice and service is parallel to the standards that my firm delivers and expects from our professional relationships.
I wanted to write to you to thank your firm for the handling of this case. In particular, I wanted to make special mention of the work performed by Sylvia Garcia. She was diligent, professional, and always available to us whenever we needed to consult her - despite the fact that our sellers and their solicitors turned out to be very difficult in every sense of the word. I would have no problem in recommending her work to you or anyone else.
