Poki graduated from the University of Surrey, completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (part-time basis). She is now a Graduate member of Cilex and is building her Portfolio to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Poki has previously worked for ESCC within the Adult Social Care Financial Assessment Team, gaining experience in Domiciliary and Residential Care funding matters.
She then moved onto the Legal Services Team specialising in litigation claims on behalf of the Council and moving onto defending claims against the Council.
In August 2015, Poki joined Irwin Mitchell Court of Protection Team (Chichester Office), assisting Deputies (two at Panel Deputy level) and Attorneys in complex and high net worth client Deputyship and Attorney matters and specialising in Elderly and Vulnerable Client matters.
Hobbies include, enjoying stand up comedy, photography, and baking.
She is bilingual, speaking English and Cantonese. During her Gap year, she volunteered as a translator and A level Tutor (Subjects: Business, Accounting, Economics and Media Studies) at the Chinese Community Society.
