Associate Solicitor and Notary Public
Having qualified in 2000, Petra has 18 years experience in all aspects of residential property.
Petra has dealt with everything from high value rural properties to small terraced first time buyer properties, her clients have ranged from experienced property developers to first time buyers.
She's very familiar will sales purchases, mortgages, flats, houses and farms – numerous and various! Plus, she has also acted for offshore clients in more complicated property re-organisations.
Petra believes in being friendly, approachable and down to earth; 'buying and selling a property can be a stressful experience and I like to do what I can to make it less so, even enjoyable!'
She is also a notary public, a qualification she's particularly proud of as there are only some 700 in the entire country (compared with 140,000 solicitors - probably more!). She qualified as a notary in 2008 and this qualification allows her to authenticate documents for use abroad, be it a power of attorney, a sale contract or verification of company details.
When Petra is not working, she enjoy spending time with her little boy (3 going on 30!)
She is a keen sailor and races competitively in a wanderer with her father.
“Petra Edwards and her team were very good at keeping me informed about proceedings when they acted for me recently with my property move. It was quite stressful because of the problems I had dealing with the seller of the property and the estate agents, both were most unhelpful, but Petra and her team helped to resolve the issues.”

"You were recommended to us and everyone we’ve spoken to at MWB, from the start of our conveyancing process, has always been so very helpful and responded when promised - increasingly a rarity in business. In particular, Aaisha Javaid has been exceptional in the last couple of weeks, getting us to the point of exchange, in what has been a difficult house sale. We cannot speak highly enough of her."
