Jacqueline joined Mayo Wynne Baxter on the Paralegal to Trainee Scheme in March 2018. She is currently a paralegal in the Litigation department.
Jacqueline earned her undergraduate degree in history at Brown University. She worked as an arts and culture writer for six years, and as an American expat, began working with Democrats Abroad to help enfranchise US citizens living in the UK.
She decided to transition to law because it enabled her to combine her journalistic passion for understanding people’s goals with her civic drive to seek just outcomes and find practical solutions to problems. She completed the GDL in 2016 and the LPC in 2017 with distinction from BPP university. She gained valuable legal experience working in personal injury in the US and in a family law firm in Brighton prior to joining Mayo Wynne Baxter.
Outside of work she is an avid listener of podcasts, and enjoys runs by the sea and walks on the Downs.
