Scott Gair is an Associate Solicitor within the Property Department at the Brighton office, and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since 2004. Scott deals predominantly with commercial property and letting, acting on behalf of landlords and tenants; undertaking a diverse range of property work.
Scott has his own personal licence, and is approved by the British Institute of Inn keeping Awarding Body (BIIAB) to deliver a number of licensing courses. Scott not only teaches BIIAB accredited courses, but deals with a range of licensing issues for the leisure and hospitality sector, including licensing applications.
Before joining the firm Scott graduated from the University of Sussex in 2003 and trained with the practice before qualifying in 2006. Scott was based in the firm’s Eastbourne office for four years, before moving to the Brighton office in March 2008.
Outside of work Scott has a passion for photography, and has had his shots printed in various national publications. His creative flair has led to him to develop a specialism in copyright law and this knowledge makes Scott an invaluable member of the firm’s Media and Creative Industries sector team (MACI). He is also a keen sportsman, and enjoys running, football and golf.
