Robert Williams is a Partner and Head of Training for Mayo Wynne Baxter, and has been with the firm since 1987. Robert specialises in family law, acting for a multitude of UK and international clients.
Robert is also strategically focused on developing and strengthening the family team in order to provide a more cost effective service.
Robert qualified in 1994 after achieving a first class honours in his Solicitors Final Examinations. He is an Accredited Specialist in Ancillary Relief and Emergency Procedures, with Resolution and a trained Collaborative Lawyer.
As the firm’s Training Partner, Robert works with his HR colleagues on the introduction of trainee solicitors to the firm, including short-listing, interviewing, appointment and pastoral care and support during their training contract.
At work Robert is particularly interested in the strategic issues with each case he works on, and ensures that all his clients look at ways of managing the risks associated with relationship breakdowns. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and regular visits to the Himalayas.
