Cristina Lawrence is a member of the Employment Team and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter since 2006.
Cristina represents employees and employers on all contentious and non-contentious issues, including restructuring and redundancy programmes, compromise agreements, drafting of policies and employment contracts, as well as assessing and advising on any prospective claims.
Cristina arrived in the UK in 2002 as an undergraduate student after living and studying in Spain, Canada and Australia. The following year Cristina obtained a degree in Sociology and Development Studies at the University of Sussex and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2008.
At work Cristina has a particular interest in discrimination claims and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Outside of work she is a passionate skier, and enjoys playing volleyball and watching foreign cinema. Cristina is also bilingual in Spanish and English and is a member of the Anglo-Spanish Society.
