The Employment Team at Mayo Wynne Baxter presented another breakfast seminar in association with Hays Human Resources on 15 December 2009.
The subject under discussion this time was best practice for change management. Presenter Martin Williams, Head of Employment at Mayo Wynne Baxter, looked at how organisations can successfully restructure and manage redundancy programmes. The seminar also addressed how best to secure agreement with staff over changes in terms and conditions.
This series of free breakfast seminars cover a variety of employment law topics which are selected by the participants. This means that each seminar looks at what is most relevant to businesses and organisations both in the private and public sector. The interactive format allows for experiences to be shared amongst senior managers and HR professionals.
The next seminar will take place on 19 January 2010 and will address the highly topical issue of equal pay.
