Mei Evans is a Solicitor within the Probate Trusts and Wills Team and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter for since 2001.
Situated in Lewes, Mei deals predominantly with estate administration, preparation of wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys, Court of Protection applications and general elderly client financial issues. On occasions Mei works in the Seaford office.
Before joining the firm Mei qualified as a Solicitor in 1988 and practised until 1992, working on a collaboration of non contentious cases for a high street practice, including residential conveyancing, wills and estate administration. During this time Mei raised her children before returning to work in 2001. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and the Sussex SFE group.
At work Mei has recently started to attend sessions at Lewes CAB one morning a week on estate administration and attorney documents in order to develop further in her role and raise the profile of the private client team.
