Trainee Solicitor
Dominique joined the Firm in March 2011 and works in the Clinical Negligence department. Before this, Dominique worked in the Litigation, Probate Trust and Wills department as well as the Employment and Corporate department, which included meeting with clients, drafting various documentation and performing legal research.
Before joining the Firm, Dominique's last role involved working as a Commercial Litigation Paralegal for a law firm in Sydney drafting legal documents, liaising with clients and providing assistance to counsel. Dominique completed her LPC at The College of Law, Guildford in 2008 and graduated from Brunel University in 2007 where she obtained her degree in Law LLB (honours).
Dominique currently sits in the dual seat of corporate and employment law in the Brighton office where she assists the team on a day-to-day basis through drafting documents and carrying out research including, most recently, the Bribery Act 2010.
Dominique is keen to gain experience on a variety of corporate and employment issues, including employment matters relating to dismissal and commercial contracts.
Outside of work, Dominique is a keen traveller having travelled around South East Asia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. She enjoys keeping fit through running, squash and swimming and making the most of the outdoors in general. Dominique is new to Brighton and is looking forward to exploring the city and everything that it has to offer. She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
