Solicitor
Caroline Godfrey is a Solicitor within the Clinical Negligence Department, within the Brighton office, and has been with Mayo Wynne Baxter for almost three years. Caroline works on a varied caseload, consisting of low and medium value claims arising from a variety of injuries.
She also assists senior members of the team with high value clinical negligence cases arising from catastrophic injuries.
Before joining the firm, Caroline obtained her Law degree from Leicester University in 2005, and then achieved a distinction in her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford. She commenced her training with the firm shortly after, and qualified into the Clinical Negligence Department in March 2009. She is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)
At work Caroline is particularly interested in cases arising from misdiagnoses and negligent surgery. Outside of work she enjoys swimming, walking and runs a Brownie Group in Hailsham with two other leaders.

Disturbing findings have been published today by the Health Service Ombudsman, Ann Abraham.
