Melanie Minter

Melanie has practised in Clinical Negligence law since 1990 and is head of the firm's Clinical Negligence Team and its Catastrophic Injury Unit. The team achieved Band 1 status in Chambers in 2008, achieving praise for the quality of advice given to clients, whilst Melanie gains recognition for 'getting right to the heart of the matter'. Melanie has conducted all types of clinical negligence claims from low value to multimillion pound claims. Melanie is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel and the AvMA Referral Panel and is also a qualified nurse.

John Hooper

A consultant with the firm, John has dealt with clinical negligence claims since 1975 and has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for clients who have suffered injury in all fields including obstetrics and gynaecology having particular expertise in brain damage cases. John is a member of the Law Society's Clinical Negligence and Children Panels and also the AvMA Referral Panel of which he was a founder member.

John Lingwood

John is a member of the firm’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Team and has a wealth of experience in dealing with both high value and clinical negligence claims. Based at the Brighton Office, John is a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and is an accredited Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. As well as pursuing claims for damages John also acts as a Court of Protection appointed Receiver for brain injured patients.

Vicki Holmes

Vicki has been conducting Clinical Negligence claims for 14 years and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Panel. Vicki has experience of many areas of clinical negligence work including claims arising from accident and emergency, obstetrics and gynaecology, cerebral palsy as a result of birth asphyxia, brain injury, spinal injury, oncology, gynaecology and neurology. Vicki is also a member of the Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum (SABIF).

Robert Bell

Robert joined the firm in 2004 having previously worked in a leading London clinical negligence firm. He has specialised in clinical negligence work since qualification in 2001. Robert has experience of cases relating to most areas of medical practice. He has pursued claims against private doctors and institutions as well as against NHS Trusts. Robert is regularly instructed to represent bereaved families at Inquests. He is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Andrea Roberts

Andrea joined the firm in 1997 and works within the Clinical Negligence team as an experienced Paralegal, assisting all the fee earners in a wide range of matters. She has worked in the legal profession for 18 years, both in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence areas of work.
